The Dallas Blue Dolphins swimming team is hosting its annual Swim-A-Thon at 4 p.m. March 15 at the Dallas Aquatic Center

. Swimmers will swim up to 200 lengths, earning a specified amount of money per length. Of the money raised, 95% will benefit the Blue Dolphins, and 5% will go to USA Swimming. The Polk County Ski Club is sponsoring trips to Mt. Hood Meadows every other Saturday, with the next trip scheduled for March 10

. The bus leaves the Safeway parking lot, 138 W. Ellendale, at noon and returns at approximately 1 a.m. Reservations are encouraged. Various packages are available for juniors, adults and beginners. The Second Annual Dallas Dragon Golf Team Scramble is scheduled for March 17 at Dallas Golf Club

. Play in the four-man scramble will begin with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. The $40 per-person entry fee includes green fee, range balls, on-course beverages and lunch. The registration deadline is March 12. Entry forms are available at Dallas High School, 1250 SE Holman. Proceeds will benefit the Dallas High School boys golf team. Oregon Amateur Basketball is sponsoring a F.A.S.T. regional qualifier May 4-6 in the Eugene/Springfield area

Central Youth Sports is seeking individuals interested in volunteering their time to help with evening and Saturday baseball games

Registration for Kids, Inc.,/LaCreole Middle School seventh and eighth grade baseball is underway

Brooke Bennett, a two-time gold medalist in the 2000 Summer Olympics, is scheduled to take part in the Western Oregon Youth Swim Camp June 17-21

. The camp is open to ages 9 to 16 and will focus on all four competitive strokes: freestyle, butterfly, breaststroke and backstroke. Campers may stay over night or commute. Bennett will work with the campers June 21 and present them with certificates at the closing ceremony. Also included on the coaching staff are Jeff Welechuk, Suha Tokman, Jennifer Alden and Elke Asleson. The registration deadline is May 17. Space is limited, and a deposit is required. Panthers Kids Wrestling is looking for wrestlers between the ages of 6 and 14
