Ross-Porter

Shannon Lee Ross of Dallas and Adrian Robert Porter of Dallas were married Aug. 18, 2007, in an outdoor wedding at Dallas City Park.

The bride is the daughter of Marvin and Ruthanne Ross of Dallas. The groom is the son of Cheryl Porter of Monmouth and Gary Peebles of West Wendover, Nev.

Pastor Jerry Franz officiated the ceremony.

Maid of honor was Barb Cornell and bridesmaids were Kristen Pryor and Carline Ross. Flower girls were Gillian Ross and Katelynn Ross. Ring bearers were Daniel Ross and Sage Teal. Best man was Sheon Peebles and groomsmen were John Teal and Bryan Lee.

Shannon is a 2006 graduate of Dallas High School. Adrian, a 1997 graduate of Amity High School, served in the U.S. Army and works for the Luckiamute Water District. Both are students at Chemeketa Community College.

The newlyweds honeymooned at the Oregon Coast and make their home in Dallas.

Phillips-McElmeel

Dawn E. Phillips of Vancouver, Wash., and Brian J. McElmeel of Vancouver were married on Sept. 22, 2007, in an outdoor ceremony at Craig Rat Hut in Hood River.

The bride is the daughter of Dave and Charlene Phillips of Dallas. The groom is the son of Carolyn McElmeel of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and the late Jerome McElmeel.

Anthony Lintz officiated. Maid of honor was Angie Snell, bridesmaid was Darby Cummings, and best man was Mark McElmeel.

Dawn is a massage therapist for Elements Day Spa, and Brian is a chef at Roots Restaurant, both in Vancouver.

The newlyweds make their home in Vancouver.

Hernandez-Pagel

Stacey Ann Hernandez of Dallas and David Earnest Pagel III of Dallas were married on Dec. 28, 2007.

The bride is the daughter of Lorena Small of Dallas and Gilbert Carrillo of Independence. The groom is the son of David and Ginger Pagel of Dallas.

Stacey attended Dallas High School and is a support specialist for Partnerships in Community Living. David works for Valley Concrete in Independence.

The newlyweds make their home in Dallas.
