DALLAS -- Two Sheridan residents have been arrested in connection with the October robbery of Tony's Place in downtown Dallas.
Officers arrested Matthew Buswell, 29, on Dec. 15 and charged him with first-degree robbery, coercion, first-degree theft and unlawful use of a firearm.
On Dec. 21, officers arrested Cassandra Maughan, 27, Buswell's girlfriend, on charges of first-degree robbery and first-degree theft.
Dallas detectives found that though Maughan had not been in the bar at the time of the robbery, she assisted Buswell in committing the crimes, which resulted in the theft and robbery charges against her.
The robbery occurred at about 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 20. According to police, a man brandishing a pistol came into the bar demanding money. Tony's staff complied with his demands and he fled the bar with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Buswell is being held on $92,500 bail. He is currently lodged at Yamhill County Jail on unrelated charges.
Maughan is being held at the Polk County Jail on $65,000 bail.
